Qaree (“we”, “us”) is a Quran memorization and reading app. We designed it to be private by default. This policy explains what we do and do not collect.
Qaree does not require you to create an account. We do not ask for or collect your name, email address, phone number, or contacts.
Your memorization and reading progress, review schedule, streaks, statistics, and settings are stored only on your device. We do not upload or store this data on our servers. You can export it yourself, or erase it at any time from Settings → Reset all progress (or by deleting the app).
Recite mode and Review use on-device speech recognition to follow your recitation. Audio from your microphone is processed entirely on your device and is never recorded, uploaded, or stored by us.
To understand how the app is used and improve it, we collect limited, anonymous product analytics:
This data does not identify you personally and is used only to improve Qaree.
Qaree Premium subscriptions are purchased and processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive or store your payment card details. Apple’s handling of your purchase is governed by Apple’s privacy policy.
Ayah audio and the on-device speech model are downloaded from third-party hosting providers when you use those features. These requests are standard file downloads and are not used to profile you.
We do not sell your data. We do not share personal information with third parties, because we do not collect personal information.
Qaree is suitable for all ages and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.
We may update this policy. Material changes will be reflected here with a new “last updated” date.
